Updates on COVID-19 Booster Requirement

December 30, 2021

PLEASE NOTE THAT ON JULY 26, 2022, THE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCED UPDATES TO THE COVID-19 VACCINATION POLICY FOR THE 2022-23 ACADEMIC YEAR.

Please note: Due to high call volumes, we ask that you do not call Student Wellness with questions about booster compliance. Please monitor your compliance status in the my.WellnessPortal for updates in the coming weeks, and upload your booster shot information as soon as you receive it.

As announced on December 20, 2021, the University is requiring every student to receive a COVID-19 booster shot once they are eligible, unless they have an approved exemption. The following resources will be helpful in answering the most common questions.

Student Wellness has limited availability for booster vaccine appointments, so that we may dedicate resources to providing primary care amidst an increase in cases. Availability for appointments can be searched through the my.WellnessPortal. Additional appointments may be added as capacity opens up.  If there are no available time slots shown in the portal, we are fully booked; please do not call to inquire about further availability. COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots are available in the U.S. from pharmacies and other local providers, and it is often easiest to schedule a booster appointment there. You can find a nearby vaccine site by visiting vaccines.gov. The University is not offering a dedicated COVID vaccine clinic at this time.
