Reduced Hours

Student Wellness will close early on:

• December 10 at 3:00 PM
• December 11 at 2:30 PM
• December 24 at 12:00 PM
• December 31 at 12:00 PM

All-Day Closures

Student Wellness will be closed all-day on:

• December 25
• January 1
  • The Student Wellness Center will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8:00 AM. 

Winter Recess (December 26–31)

Student Wellness will be open for urgent or non-routine appointments Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Students needing care during this time should call 773-834-9355.

• For urgent mental health care, students can reach the Therapist-on-Call 24/7/365 at 773-702-3625.  
• If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room.  
  • If you are in Hyde Park, the University of Chicago Medicine’s Emergency Department is located at 5656 South Maryland Avenue, 773-702-6250. 
• If you are unsure where to turn, you can always reach a Dean-on-Call, 24/7/365, by calling UCPD at 773-702-8181 or by texting through the UChicago Safe App.
