Each Mindfulness Meditation course is held over four weeks and includes instruction and practice of mindfulness meditation and other mind/body techniques to help reduce stress.
We offer three different programs for Mindfulness Meditation:
- Weekly Mindfulness Meditation: Every Thursday throughout the Summer Session (June 25-August 27, 2020), we will be hosting a 30-minute mindfulness session. Register for the session here. Registrants will be emailed a Zoom meeting invite a day before the session with details on how to join the session.
- Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation: An introduction to mindfulness meditation that consists of a weekly, 75-minute class taught over four weeks. Each session is limited to twelve students. Attendance at all four weeks is required.
- Advanced Mindfulness Meditation: An “advanced” class for students who have completed the basic class and are eager for more mindfulness or already practice meditation regularly. Advanced Mindfulness consists of a weekly, 75-minute class taught over four weeks. Each session is limited to twelve students. Attendance at all four weeks is required.
- Silent Retreat Focused on Mindfulness Meditation: A four-hour silent retreat, where you can spend the afternoon learning and practicing mindfulness and meditation techniques to help you cultivate a contemplative capacity in a world of distraction. No experience is necessary.

It is not required to complete the Introduction course before the Advanced, but it is strongly encouraged. If you have prior experience with midnfulness meditation you can take either course.
