Student Health and Counseling Service is committed to providing you with opportunities to learn beyond the classroom by providing workshops all around campus. Groups can request specific workshop for their house meetings, cohorts, or training events from the topics listed below.

Is an interactive workshop provided by Peer Health Advocates, that emphasizes creating and reaffirming positive and healthy personal body image. Through a variety of structured verbal, written, and behavioral exercises in which the students critique the thin ideal, and discuss their personal experiences with body image.

SCS’s Academic Skills Assessment Program (ASAP) offers quarterly workshops that address a variety of academic concerns in a group format. Past workshops have included: Time Management and the Quarter System, Get Set for Finals, Managing the Winter Quarter, Effective Reading Strategies, Study Skills for First Years, Finding Balance for Graduate Students, and Mindfulness for Academics.
