In Touch

In Touch is a group of Peer Health Advocates who work to educate UChicago students about sexual health and healthy relationships. We are committed to providing informative, sex positive workshops and programs that empower students by enabling them to make well-informed choices regarding their relationships with others.

We aim to:

  • Create a comfortable and inclusive environment for students to express concerns and ask questions regarding their own sexual health and relationships
  • Inspire students to think critically about what constitutes a healthy relationship and to be aware of their own interactions with others
  • Link students to both on and off-campus resources related to sexual health and relationships
  • Teach students best practices for maintaining their sexual health

The InterCourse

The InterCourse is an interactive workshop designed to be a health and wellness resource for all members of the UChicago community. The workshop discusses the fundamentals of healthy relationships, signs of abuse, communication in relationships, consent, contraception, and STIs. Demonstrations include external condoms, internal condoms, and dental dams. Our workshop is inclusive, informative, and nonjudgmental. Two Peer Health Advocates present the 40-minute workshop.
