Student Wellness will be transitioning our laboratory service provider from the University of Chicago Medicine Laboratory to LabCorp starting June 10, 2026. This change reflects our ongoing commitment to improving service quality and expanding testing capabilities. For most students, this operational transition will have minimal impact on their experience at Student Wellness.

What remains unchanged:

• Student Wellness will continue to pay the lab fee for the majority of the labs offered at Student Wellness.
• Students will continue to receive high-quality lab results in a timely manner.

What will change:

• For labs not paid for by Student Wellness, students will receive a bill from LabCorp directly or after insurance has been billed. Previous billing was handled by UChicago Medicine.
• Students will have the ability to create an account with LabCorp to view their lab results and pay bills online.
• Lab results will no longer be available via UChicago MedicineMyChart. Students will be responsible for sharing lab results directly with any non-Student Wellness providers, including at UCM.
